Hi there,
I have a private Athena Linux PC called Confucius. The user
was trying to upgrade the Athena Linux automatically but the
upgrade failed. When it tried a reboot in the middle of the
upgrade, it could not find the disk and partition. It needed
to boot from a SCSI disk and it looks like there was no SCSI
support built into the kernel. There also may have been some
confusion between an old form conf.modules and a newer form
modules.conf. I built a new kernel 2.2.17-14 with SCSI support,
put it in place and the upgrade finished. Your auto-upgrade
needs to have support for SCSI disks built in otherwise most of
my DELL PC's will not upgrade.
   Thank you
   Linda Meinke
