From the FL side: we've written to the prof pointing him to some
general PDF guidelines and factoids including how to change the plugin
pref, and will try to follow up on any specific issues with his files.
If you have any more specifics feel free to send me a separate note; it
looks like he's removed facdev from parts of the locker, so we're
blocked on diagnosis for the moment.
