What were you trying to do?
In my dotfiles, determine whether the local console uses the
normal keymap or the weirdo new keymap the new Blade USB
	keyboards have.

What's wrong:
	qsh:~mg% kbd -t
	opening the keyboard: Permission denied
	kbd: Cannot open /dev/kbd
	Seems fairly self-explanatory.

What should have happened:
	On coleco-sidewinder.mit.edu:
	csw:~mg% kbd -t
	USB keyboard

Relevant docs:
	man kbd

Thanks,
--Chris
