new netscape does bad things

I noticed earlier today that my default printer preference had
changed from 'lpr -Pmeadow' to 'lp'. I didn't think much of it.
Logging in now, I find:
22:05 **** Netscape is eating 572K of your quota! ****
22:05 To correct, this situation, quit Netscape, and then run
22:05 add infoagents
22:05 netscape-fix
22:05 cd
22:05 rm -rf .netscape/cache
and sure enough I have a cache.
Doubtless piles of other things have gone haywire, and it's related to the
netscape update?
