The log file that saber keeps in /tmp was erased over the course of my current
saber session, probably because the saber session ran over the course of
several days (I forgot it was running and left myself logged in with it running)
and our clean_tmp_areas script obliterated the log file.

The problem is that now I am getting repeated errors from saber saying:
Error: Log file '/tmp/saber.a12232' is gone????
I've gotten this about seven or eight times now.

Isn't once enough? Can't it either (a) forget about the log file or (b)
make a new one for itself, rather than repeatedly telling me that its old
log file has vanished?

jik
