I have the following line in a script:
set hostname = `hostname | sed 's/\..*//' | tr '[a-z]' '[A-Z]'`
which yields the following error when trying to execute it W20-575-52:
sorry, pid 2805 was killed in exec: I/O error mapping pages
(with the corresponding blackbar message). I haven't noticed this on any
other workstation.
