This cannot be fixed easily for whatis. The whatis database file is
automatically generated and should not be hand tweaked as you earlier
suggested. The reason why mh does not get picked up the program is
that mh man files are generated in a very non standard way that are
not compatible with this program. This will require more thought
before any fix can be made.

Subject: please make "apropos mail" return something about mh
Date: Wed, 08 Mar 89 13:46:05 EST
From: Carla Fermann <carla@ATHENA.MIT.EDU>
Hi! I've been reporting this every few months since July, but I don't
think it has been fixed yet (at least not on the 6.1a workstation I
tried...)
Could we please fix it so that "apropos mail" will mention mh? In my
2 prior messages I detailed one way to correct things... I don't have
time to look for those message right now, but if you can't find them,
let me know, and I'll try to resurrect them from somewhere...
Also, could someone please reply to me on this? I was told that the
message I sent in July was forwarded to the documentation people, but
I'm not sure what happens after that...
Thanks a lot!!
Carla
