What were you trying to do?
Use xss-button to lock my screen.
What's wrong:
bart-savagewood has two screens. Both nicely faded to black,
and then displayed white, followed by normal X gray and an
Athena login screen. Looks like it crashed the X server. :-/
On the second run, the screensaver hack appeared briefly on
the first screen.
If memory serves, the first time, I hit the screensaver button
and then bumped the mouse, so I got the normal xscreensaver
password box. I pressed RET, and then the X server died.
What should have happened:
I should have gotten a pretty maze-solving problem on both
screens.
