What were you trying to do?
I was creating a double-sided thesis with fancy headers in
LaTeX2e.
What's wrong:
If a chapter ended on an odd page, the next one started on the
next odd page, but the blank even page between them had headers.
What should have happened:
Blank pages between chapters should not have headers
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
You can fix the problem by adding \thispagestyle{empty} before
\cleardoublepage to \def\chapter in mitthesis.cls.
PS. change "pease" to "please" in 1st paragraph of /mit/thesis/README
