What were you trying to do?
I believe that I have finished all the needed steps to privatize my new
Ultra 5 workstation BENNY-CARTER.MIT.EDU, and then run mkserv remote so
that I could ssh to it from another workstation. (Yes, I did get my
srvtab file and change it to a new version and ktutil it to get a r5
file, too.)
After all this, and a reboot of BENNY-CARTER.MIT.EDU, I tried running
ssh:
> % ssh carter
> dryfoo@ATHENA.MIT.EDU@carter's password:
> Permission denied.
What's wrong:
It's not letting me login.
What should have happened:
It should have let me login.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I was following the instructions in the wonderful Private
Workstation Owners Guide. I don't think I missed anything.
