I just noticed this, has it been doing this the whole time?
That under X inserting, and or deleting text on a line ALWAYS redraws
the WHOLE line?
I've actually noticed the line flicker lately.
Has this always been happening, and I'm just sensitive today, or has a
bugfix to emacs been backed out in the new release?
