What were you trying to do?
I was just running Netscape and XMH.
What's wrong:
The screen grab quits- I can no longer select a wondow to
bring it forward, or minimize or maximize a window, or move a window
around. All functions I can reach still work (like the pull-down
menus), but I have to quit the applicaiton on top to reach a lower
window. This has happened often since I got back at the beginning of
the term, and it's really annoying, especially if I have minimized a
window that I am trying to work in- I have to log out and start over.
This only happens when I have Netscape running, as far as I can tell.
What should have happened:
Normal operations should have happened.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I have a .environment file, but I have had it since Freshman
year (1997) and have not had this problem before. I also have a
.Startup.X file, but again, that has never caused me grief. It
happens on many computers, not just the Sun Towers. Please help!
