On pickled-herring, a cluster config Dell GX110, running
/etc/athena/fix-xconfig hangs forever. This is because the call in the
script to get-edid never returns. When get-edid is run by hand, we get
endless amounts of output, reproduced below. I've truncated the output,
but a longer set of spew is available in
/mit/zacheiss/sipb/get-edid.out.
