RT's like to crash with the above message when I log out (frequency
about once per week this year; I average > 1 logout per day). This has
happened when my login shell died due to a signal as well as when it exited
normally (i.e. my .logout doesn't cause it). Richard Basch has looked at
crash dumps and found them uninformative, so this note is mainly to establish
a record of the problem.
I run a program from .login that forks a number of processes, then kills
its process group on receipt of SIGHUP; it was suggested that this may be
relevant.
