Yes, in fact, your pointy hat must be this tall for you to install
layered linux-athena.  Additiotnally, I think that a recursive
dependency accurately represents reality, so I'm hesitant to change
it.  I understand that there isn't yet a good solution for people who
want to install linux-athena on non-cluster hardware, but that is a
seperate problem, and there are people looking into possible
solutions.
