I've seen two cases of xss not unlocking, in the last two days, on
cluster machines. In each case, poking keys on the keyboard had no
effect, although the screensaver was moving.
1) SGI indy, xss module xjack
2) Sun Ultra5, xss module lissie (I'm not 100% sure of that, though)
(I couldn't find anything more intelligent to do with these than to grip
of death the xserver, in the first case, and to reboot the machine in
the second case.)
