'top' doesn't work on 64-bit Solaris 7

I layered Athena (or large chunks of it anyway) on top of 64-bit Solaris 7
on a Sun Enterprise 420R (similar to an Ultra 80). On this machine, the
'top' command fails with these errors:
top: /dev/ksyms is not a 32-bit kernel namelist
kvm_open: Error 0
Is any easy fix possible?
