I'm a little puzzled by that; Thomas asked in release-team what
revision control system he should use when he switched from the als
locker to the install locker, and received the answer "RCS", but he
seems to still be using numbered emacs backup files and nothing else.
Anyway, I made the fix in the sources and propagated it to the dev
cell; feel free to propagate to the athena cell.
