This machine is running layered, but has been updated
to include all patches up to 8.4.9 (I haven't gotten
to 8.4.10 yet)
What were you trying to do?
ftp into the machine
What's wrong:
I get "access denied" with no particular useful information
in syslog. This appears to be because my shell, /bin/athena/tcsh
is not in /etc/shells
What should have happened:
the is-linux install should replace /etc/shells with the default
athena /etc/shells list which includes /bin/athena/tcsh otherwise
things like ftp fail.
