Hey, I didn't say *how* broken :)
The problem you're reporting is known to us and we have two or three
people looking into it. Stay tuned, we may ask you to help us test a
fix. Assuming we find one. We may be looking at a situation where we
cannot upgrade SGIs to 4.73 at all - Bob Basch thinks the problem is a
clash between binary types, and if that's so, we can't fix it.
