System name: alice-whacker.mit.edu
Type and version:	i686 8.4.3
Display type:

Shell: /afs/sipb/project/bash/bash (/bin/athena/bash?)
Window manager: unknown

What were you trying to do?
	Edit a file with /bin/vi

What's wrong:
When you exit, the cursor is often placed too high, so
the shell prompt is in the middle of the text on the
	terminal.

What should have happened:
It should have placed the cursor where it was when vi
was launched. The nvi in the sipb locker, which is
the also version 1.79, does not have this problem.
I do not know conclusively that this is a vi problem---
it may be a terminal bug that vi aggravates.
