What's wrong:
mhbuild dumped core trying to print the error message
"invalid parameter in message %s's %s: field\n%*.*s(parameter %s)"
because the first string argument was null.
What should have happened:
mhbuild should have said "you used an odd number of quotation marks"
instead of dumping core
