Hi Sara,
We have run into this before and it's a pain. Essentially, there is a bug
in distill 3.0.0 (the version in the acro locker) which makes this happen.
The message is embedded in the binary and can't be turned off. You are
supposed to be able to use a -saveprefs command-line option that saves
your preference but this doesn't work. You get an entry
*PrefsVersion: 2
in your .acrorc that using -compatlevel 3.0 -saveprefs (for example) won't
change. You can edit it by hand to 3 but the message still appears when you
run. You can use distill in the frame_v5.5.6 locker by doing:
add [-f] frame_v5.5.6
distill foo.ps
You will STILL get the message, but at least this version doesn't require
you to input anything- it just goes ahead and distills, but using 3.0
format. We've been told that this distill is 3.0.1; also that there is
a distill 3.0.2 which might fix the problem- but we've never been
able to get it. I just reopened this issue with Adobe today- we'll see
if we get any further this time.
