User krastogi has Star Office configs which reproduceably cause Star
Office to create postscript files which print endless copies of their
first page.

Such a PostScript file created using Star Office's "print to file"
functionality has the property that it is correctly viewable with gv,
but if you send it to an HP printer, it produces endless copies of its
first page. Furthermore, if you use gv's print one page at a time
functionality (since it's a structured postscript document), you can
create files of one page each, which continuously spew on a printer.
Deleting everything after the showpage in such files does not fix them,
nor are any looping constructs evident.

The user reports that this just started happening to him one day. It
happens across files. His print dialogue box appears normal.

I didn't get any of his configuration files, but I warned him that
someone would contact him, and ask him to copy them someplace.
(I am unclear on which file we want to look at, and how to copy only
the configuration directory, since Star Office seems to hide document
data amongst the configs.)

You can find a copy of the spewing postscript file in
/mit/krastogi/Public/Consultant Reports2.ps
(I also have a copy)
