What were you trying to do?
load users into the lert database (on minos not on
speaker-for-the-dead)
What went wrong?
lert failed to nuke failing whitespace from the list of
usernames. Note that "user " does not match "user" so the
user "user" never got his lert messages.
What should have happened?
lert should have stripped trailing whitespace so that users
are loaded into the db correctly.
Yo, got any documentation, or other info?
This bites ops periodically, and I was reminded of it recently.
Since I don't have time to fix it right now I figured I'd
submit a bug report.
