User came to the sipb office, couldn't print an acrobat document
from netscape.
I went to their machine, and could get neither plugin acrobat nor
standalone acrobat to print. (Printing from a Sun worked fine.)
The failure was that it would hang forever on the "printing page
2 of 2" box, and never finish that step.
As part of the debugging process, I killed lpd. I could not
restart it, using either the init script "stop" and "start"
method, nor by running mumble/athena/mumble/lpd by hand.
I was rushed, and didn't have time to try command-line printing
or more thorough debugging.
