What were you trying to do?
Run packf, to pack messages in an NMH folder into a single
message file.
What's wrong:
packf did not detect and report that it failed to write the
message file, because it exceeded the AFS volume quota. It
exited with a status of 0, leaving an empty message file.
What should have happened:
packf should have reported the failure to write the file, and
exited with a non-0 status.
