Thanks for the bug report, and for the precise description of the
system hang. Usually we see these hangs during reactivate; I think
this is the first formal report of it happening during normal use.
rbasch has been in contact with SGI about the problem. As usual, SGI
is not being very helpful, but we will continue pressuring them.
