What's wrong:
Stata Corp has released an update for their statistical program Stata
available on Athena. I need to use the updated version of the
software to run some regressions, since they fix a bug in the software
that was unfortunately coming up in the regs I was running. No
purchase is needed: someone with root access just needs to run a
command within Stata to install the update. I'm including an e-mail
from my UROP advisor/Stata tech support about the update.
