Often when I try to run the Athena version of Netscape from my Athena-Linux
PC, I get these messages:
VAULT.MIT.EDU:~ % netscape &

VAULT.MIT.EDU:~ % ERROR: libc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory
Cant load plugin /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/t/h/thg/.netscape/plugins/nppdf.so.
Ignored.
ERROR: libc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Cant load plugin /mit/acro/nsplugins/nppdf.so. Ignored.
ERROR: libc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Cant load plugin /mit/acro/nsplugins/h.nppdf.so. Ignored.

Typically, the second time I try to launch Netscape, I see the same errors,
but it manages to launch after prompting me to delete the lockfile. Is the
Netscape Acrobat plugin installed for Linux (i386_linux3)?
