Sigh, *that*'s why it loses?

FWIW, I've worked around this bug (which I admit I should have
reported) by copying my files to a temporary directory, running
latex2html there, and copying the HTML back.

Also FWIW, tth (in the tth locker) is an alternative to latex2html
which I understand often works better.
