Hi. I suspect that Corel Draw had "grabbed the mouse," which means
that it had told the X server that it should get to process all mouse
events. It's a common problem with some complicated X clients.
Assuming I'm right, I'll leave it up to one of the third-party
software maintainers to say how likely it is we can get Corel Draw
fixed.
