While chatting with Anne Hunter today she mentioned that the Scribe
thesis format does not do cover pages properly for MIT format.
Specifically the copyright notice is incorrect and the MIT
distribution notice isn't present. Since "being able to control your
formatter" isn't a valid excuse for not doing a proper thesis, a
number of people have trouble getting their theses accepted because of
this...it would be nice if we could get this changed. A proper cover
page can be found in the Course VI "How to write a thesis" document,
which I will supply upon request...
