Since the csh-scripting discussion is being cc'd to the bug list, I'm
jumping in without remorse and compounding a felony :)

If you'd like, Alicia, come to e40-347 and borrow my book UNIX POWER
TOOLS, which reprints the famous Tom Christiansen essay "C Shell
Programming Considered Harmful." (It may be the same thing jhawk has, I 
haven't seen his.)

The unix gods at O'Reilly who compiled this book felt strongly enough
about this that they devote a whole chapter (albeit brief) to nothing but
this subject.
