What were you trying to do?
Log in at a workstation in "terminal-style" mode. Meaning, I press F3
before submitting my username and password for login.
What's wrong:
I always get the messages:
> A new thesis printer, w20thesis, is now available for use in the W20
> Copytech Center. The W20 Copytech Center is open from 11am to midnight,
> Monday-Friday, and 10am-7pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Under X, they only show up once, more or less. Same with dialup. But
under terminal-style login, every time
What should have happened:
Similar behavior to what happens under X?
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Shabby said that he thinks it stems from /usr/athena/lib/init. The call
to "get_message" isn't using the -n (-new?) flag. I would think that
the get_message call there would use "-n -l".
