i know this is a degenerate case, but the
zwgc error message:
There is no X display available, so zwgc cannot run.
THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY ZEPHYR MESSAGES.
If you wish to receive Zephyr messages, you should start zwgc
with the -ttymode option. Read the zwgc(1) manual page for details.
appears even when you, in fact, have a
zwgc running on the relevant host already.
this is misleading, in fact it misleads
you into accumulating zwgc's...
in addition, there *is* a zwgc in the std
path, but it is not what you want (it's a
verbose shell script). that zwgc does not
tell you where the real one lives, so the
error message above and the nature of the
std path leads in directly into a box canyon.
