I gather that the man pages have always been a somewhat hairy issue.
The mtools page documents general flags such as -r which the pages for
individual commands like mcopy don't, but it's long and unwieldy and
probably overlooked in general. We're working on installing a newer
version of mtools which should include more up-to-date man pages, but
I think they're organized in the same fashion.
mbackup is the perl script bdrosen wrote some time back to copy an
entire directory tree. I've been poking around with it when I have
spare time to fix a few problems and to provide more documentation (in
the form of "mbackup -help") but haven't moved any changes over yet.
If Heather wants to work on man pages, I can throw some content her
way (just holler)...
