tek mode is completely broken, as in you can't even get the window to
display and you kill the xterm with unknown windowid and illegal
instruction errors. This is, I believe, the THIRD release in which I
have reported this bug; it just never seems to stay fixed. I need the
tek xterm to do work, so as soon as a working version exists put it in
the fixes locker and please send me mail.
tek mode dies pretty much the same way for xterm -t, both menu
options, and the escape codes.
the vax i tried it on was installed less than three weeks ago by jis,
and has not been modified; the rt is a sipb machine running with an
afs.
