What were you trying to do?
Use the splufty ndc script.
What's wrong:
It doesn't think named is running. Probably because it sets
the PIDFILE to /etc/named.pid instead of /var/athena/named.pid
What should have happened:
It should have let me perform a virtual cornucopia of name
server administration commands. Stats, databases, tracing,
reloading ... you name it! You know what I always say: "If it
can't be done with ndc, it's not worth doing at all."
