If you look at a typical rvddb file, I think it also has blank lines
separating (much larger) sets of lines that define parameters to a
single operation to be performed (such as adding a virtual or physical
disk to the empty database). I think it's done as a delimiter for the
parameter list.
Does it at least give a decent message when the blank line isn't
there?
