Problems receiveing letters

I am encountering the trouble to receive my e-mail with both
Netscape3.01and 4.
Writtening error occurs in NS when I check the new mail.
Also, I can not save new bookmark.
I have enough disk space available and I can read it at x-term
using 'inc' command.
Please tell me how to cope this problems and send me e-mail:
