What's wrong:
My xterm windows appear to go off into never-never-land and completely
hang at random intervals. The cursor disappears, and nothing done to
the window will make it reappear. In addition, xterm pop-up menus on
a hung window do not work.
All the times that this has happened to me so far, it has been after I
have hit return when the cursor is on the bottom line of the xterm
window. The window does not scroll, and instead the cursor just
disappears as described above.
What should have happened:
The window should scroll, the cursor should move to the beginning of
the next line, and things should be honky-dory.
