What were you trying to do?
I am using mule to type Japanese character with Netscape Mail in Netscape 3. I cannot input Japanese character directly in the Compose window. Therefore, to quote original Japanese character, I click [Reply] to obtain a Compose window first. In the window, the Japanese charactor are not displayed correctly. But when I copy it to the mule window, it can be displayed correctly. Then I add and make my message.
I tried to do the same thing in Netscape 4.
What's wrong:
In the mule window. Japanese character cannot be displayed.
In Compose window of NS4, Japanese character can be shown by setting HTML. But you cannot add or copy it to mule.
What should have happened:
Encoding method for forein language in Netscape 4 is different from Netscape 3.
