Sorry you feel that way. FWIW, I went to the site you mentioned, on a
Sparc4 with 32MB memory, and played around for quite a while with no
crashes. Results from various places are bound to be inconsistent - for
example, I used to "bus error" 3.01 once a day on this machine and 4.05
hasn't crashed yet.

I am tracking several crash reports in 4.05 right now, and if it
develops that there is anything I can do to provide more stable
conditions for the small number of users who are reporting regular
problems, I will do it.

More importantly, we have not removed 3.01 from infoagents and we have
no plans to. You can run it by typing 'netscape-3.01'. Furthermore your
4.05 and 3.01 prefs will coexist relatively peacefully (write me for
precise cases where they do and don't get along, if you care) ... so you
can go back and forth as needed.

The strange plugin errors are an SGI artifact caused by the presence of
an older version of Netscape which is part of the SGI system pack.
They're harmless but annoying. I am working on this problem.
