System name: lava-lamp.mit.edu
Type and version: sun ultra10, running athena 8.2.8, installed aug 4
Display type: ?? (sorry, i'm running sendbug from another system)
What were you trying to do?
'init 6' to reboot the system
What's wrong:
after installing athena 8.2 on a sun ultra 10 yesterday, i found
at the 'ok' prompt, the 'boot-device' was set to
disk:b net
set like this, the machine will fail to reboot on an 'init 6', etc.
What should have happened:
i believe it should be set to
disk:a
so that it will try to boot from the root partition, and never
try booting from the net
