Could you please change the Netscape 3 wrapper to use athdir a la the
Netscape 4 wrapper rather than blindly using ${ATHENA_SYS}?
(This bit me because I was trying to run Netscape 3 on my experimental
Red Hat-Athena 5.1/8.2 workstation, which has a sysname of i386_linux3
but can run i386_linux2 and i386_linux1 binaries.)
