Hello there.
Aaron forwarded me your message, and I'll be responding personally in
a few minutes, but I wanted to let bugs know that right now emacs20 in
the emacs locker does not correctly support any nontrivial input
methods. I'll be fixing that very soon.
In the meantime, as a temporary measure, people may be interested in
trying the following:
athena% add emacs
athena% /mit/emacs/beta/bin/emacs &
on 8.2 Athena Sun and SGI workstations (not yet available for linux or
NetBSD). This is a TESTING version of emacs, and I do not recomend
that typical users run it for day to day use, since I update it quite
frequently, and it is not kept stable. It will, however, give you
something that you can use to explore the alternative input methods in
emacs 20.
