Ok, you're right. I've been attributing to clean_tmp_areas a problem
that really can be solved by only leaving TEMPORARY things in tmp.
Therefore, I propose the following: (for 6.1 if it's not too late)
/tmp/attachtab move to /etc (next to mtab)
That the X socket do the same.
And that these (and any other NON temporary things in tmp) be added to
the list of things to move to /site/etc when implement read only root
filesystem.
