What were you trying to do?
Run the Alias renderer from the command line (executable
is in /mit/imagery5/install/alias9706/bin/)
What's wrong:
athena% renderer test.0
Renderer: Cannot 'stat' /usr/aw/alias/bin/renderer.i5.4k: : No such file or directory
then i tried
athena% /mit/imagery5/install/alias9706/bin/renderer.i5.4k test.0
Alias Renderer, Version 8.2 (/mit/imagery5/install/alias9706/bin/renderer.i5.4k)
Renderer: Cannot find any aw*.dat files in /var/flexlm
i copied an aw.dat from an LCS machine and put it in /var/flexlm,
and tried again, but got
Alias Renderer, Version 8.2 (/mit/imagery5/install/alias9706/bin/renderer.i5.4k)
Renderer: Unable to checkout a license.
i tried copying a licensefile.db into /var/flexlm, but got the same
"unable to checkout" a license error
What should have happened:
it should have worked. (obviously...)
