I'm not sure which zip you were trying to use. You can check what is
being invoked by doing
where zip
There is zip/unzip (in the sipb locker, I think) for
compressing/uncompressing files.
There is something called mzip in the new mtools locker to deal with
zip drives. you probably need to invoke it as
mzip [-epqrwx] z:
if you are trying to run something else ("mdir z:"), please be
explicit about which program you are using.
I'm not at all sure what you mean when you sayd "volrun fails."
Please provide more information so we can help you. You might also
want to try OLC, as the consultants often can assist in running
things.
